I went to Westminster Abbey and all I got was this lousy chocolate.
That is pretty much what Nadia and Elliot said after they completed their scavenger hunt around Westminster Abbey. Basically the hunt consisted of finding various tombs, statues, and symbols around the Abbey. When the Vicar handed them the four page scavenger hunt form to complete, he promised that there would be a treat at the end - a chocolate treat. This was very motivating and they dutifully went about tracking down Darwin's grave and writing down the year he was born on their form. Elliot, bless his heart, sat on the floor as I spelled out the answers to him. "K" "I" "N" "G" "G" "E" "O" "R" "G" "E". He hung in there until Henry VII's Chapel and couldn't take it anymore so I began writing his answers down. By this time, it was wall to wall people. It felt like we were floating from room to room on a sea of people. Nadia dug her heels in with the prize firmly in her mind. Four pages later - we reached the end. The first bitter pill was having to stand in the gift store line to claim their prizes. The injustice! The clerk silently handed them their chocolate. No pomp. No circumstance. Like little Charlie Wonkers, they tore off the gold foil of their sweet prize and bit down. This was the second bitter pill. Quite literally. Yes, my friends, quite literally.
