There is nothing staged about this photo. The kids were not asked to feign sleep. Lucas actually fell asleep here along Hampstead High Street as we waited for Brad to run an errand. Me on the other hand? I was totally energized by the change of scenery.
We arrived around mid-day on Wednesday after a great flight over Northern Canada and Greenland. Our flat is on the edge of Camden Town near Hampstead Park - about a 20 minute tube ride from the hustle and bustle of touristed London. We are loving our hood. In fact, it feels like home in many ways. We spent our jet lagged afternoon at this amazing playground. Honestly, it was like being in NE Portland except a lot quieter (despite the large amount of children at the park). Lucas, Nadia, and Elliot had to strain their ears to overhear conversations, longing to hear a British accent. I think it is safe to say that Americans are much louder!
Nadia is doing her best to keep her gymnastics skills up.
We all crashed around 7 pm London time. Lots in store for us tomorrow.
