Ode to the Parks of London

Oh Parks of London
how do I thank thee?
For your ponds and your greenery.
For your jungle gyms and climbing logs.
For a place where my children can play and jog.

Oh Parks of London
every shrub, tree, and plant a treat.
Wordsworth, Shelley, and John Keats.
You are a song, a poem, a dance
and you break us from our tourist trance.

Oh Parks of London - I do adore thee.

XO
Nancy

She happily trotted into day care with her boyfriend Sammy in tow today, ready for some Havanese adventures (she may be starting a blog of her own :). Have a fabulous trip!
