One Word Wednesday!

This time One Word Wednesday is focused on our time spent in El Puerta de Santa Maria near Cadiz.  El Puerta is a small town that was hit hard by the recession in 2007.  There are many abandoned houses and stores for rent yet the town seems to persevere.  It is  gritty, charming, and friendly.  It felt like the kind of place we could settle in for awhile and sink roots into.  The beach nearby was lovely too.

Okay - I have broken the one word rule.  Here goes:

                           Another rooftop pool:  Necessary!

Lucas's experience buying fruit at the market:  Authentic

Elliot's fairy house at the beach:  Sandy

Wearing a hat again (and having my scalp tolerate it):  Milestone

Four hundred pound stork nests built on ledge of Cathedral:
                                                Roomy

Bungee Jumping near the river:  Bouncy

Brad's recovery from food poisoning:  Remarkable

Bar Vicente in dowtown El Puerta:  Classic

The Orange Juice at Bar Vicente:  Pure

                            The ocean temperature:  Soothing

                             Playing in the waves:  Wet

                                                      Getting Buried:  Deep
